I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
